You've asked and asked and finally, we've listened. LifeLine
Productions will be introducing new full length scripts throughout the
month of June. Only this time, we've opened up our genre. Not
only are we doing Gospel oriented skits, but we are also doing skits that
are just for fun. Many times you just want to have a fun show at
your church with no heavy messages. Below is just some of the new
scripts you can find at LifeLine Productions:
- The Old Man - A Christian faces temptation: The Old
Man. A humorous and very visual illustration of the struggle we
all face in everyday life.
- The Box - What would you do if you were faced with the choice
of getting to know God better, or receiving $1,000. A couple
face this dilemma in a very revealing script.
- Cows - Two just for fun scripts dealing with cows. One
script deals with one cow facing the reality of getting branded.
The other is about a field trip to McDonalds.
- Butch & Chester - Come join two cowboys out on the range
as they deal with snakes, loneliness and saddle sores.
- DABDAH - A script to help kids remember the six stages of how
to deal with grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance
and hope.
- The Disclaimer - (This month's free script) During the church
reading of Romans 10:9-10, someone has to read the disclaimer:
"That can't be right!, The following people are excepted from the
previous passage..."
This month we've also included some of the work of Roseann
Dashkowitz, a drama teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy. We
found her work very similar to our style, and she has a zeal for reaching
the younger crowd. Included in her work you will find:
- Kindness
- Parents learning a lesson on kindness from their
kids.
- Prayer Meeting, AKA Gossip 101 - What looks like a prayer
group is really an excuse to gossip.
- Race for Life - You have two choices, the S&N (straight
and narrow) or the BWL (Big Wide Lane). Watch and listen to
interviews of the runner as they explain their choice of paths.
- The Fast Lane - If you have a youth group getting ready to do
a fast to help the homeless, this script is just for you. Here
we deal with a group of teenagers going through the stages of a 30-hour fast.
Does this mean that LLP is now accepting outside scripts? Yes it
does. Let us know if you wish to submit some of your work for us to
review.
Come back often as we will have a complete book of Set 3 before too
long.
Vote for your favorite Christian radio spot!
Every month we place ten different Christian radio messages on our
voting page for listeners, such as you, to rate. So far, about half
of our Gospel spots have been rated.
